Visit measurement
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. Each time a page loads, your browser sends Cloudflare a short report: the page address (anything after a “?” is not recorded), the site that linked you here, your approximate country, your device type, browser and operating system, and how quickly the page loaded.
It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. As with any web request, Cloudflare receives your IP address; Cloudflare states that this service does not use it to identify or follow individual visitors. We see totals only, such as how often a page was read and where readers came from, and cannot pick out any one reader.
To stay out of these counts, block static.cloudflareinsights.com with a content blocker.

Advertising
Google AdSense is not configured for this edition. An empty Google ad space does not itself load advertising.
This site uses KKday affiliate links and may earn a commission from purchases through them. Product cards and images are served by this site; viewing them does not automatically connect to KKday. Trip Ledger
The Trip Ledger stores only what your group types in: the ledger name, the names people go by, and for each expense the amount, currency, date, description, notes, who paid and who shares it. We never ask for an email address, phone number or ID number. Please use nicknames and keep sensitive details out of descriptions and notes, because this text is stored as plain text.
We use this data only to work out and show balances and suggested transfers to the people who hold the link. It is not used for advertising and not passed on for marketing.
Ledger data is stored on a server the site operator runs in Hong Kong. If you live anywhere else, your data is stored and processed outside your country. Connections travel through the Cloudflare network: Cloudflare processes your IP address and what is sent in order to deliver it, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
On the operator's side, to prevent abuse, your IP address is turned into a value with a key that changes daily, held only in memory and used to count requests; the operator does not store the address itself.
A ledger is deleted 18 months after its last change; opening it does not extend that. A banner appears in the ledger 30 days before the date; pressing Keep this ledger or changing any record starts the count again. Anyone with the admin link can delete the ledger sooner. After a deletion or an erasure, leftovers in server backups are kept for up to 8 more days. Material attached to a report is seen only by the operator for review and deleted after 180 days.
Anyone with the admin link can erase a member's name. Erasing cannot reach three things: text people typed into descriptions, notes and the ledger name; exports and backup files other members already downloaded; and up to 8 days of leftovers in server backups.
Ledger pages use no cookies, no ads and no analytics. Ledgers remembered on your device stay in your browser, and you can remove them from the device at any time.
The operator does not open ledgers with their links. Reports are handled using only what the reporter sends, plus basic details such as the creation date and the number of members. Names and other text are still technically on the operator's server, so this is a policy, not a technical limit.
